History : The mill probably dates back to the Gallo-Roman period, and the present building to the 12th and 14th century in its lower part, which is flanked by large buttresses. The mill continued to produce until 1949. Its wheel (the only major component no longer existing) measured 23 ft across. The gears and millstones are still in place. In addition, the building houses host an exhibition on mills. The large and picturesque mill pond continues to form part of the property.
